Born in West Point, Mississippi; graduate of West Point High School, Mississippi State University, Nova University, Interdenominational Theological Center,  and Jackson State University.  I have taught English in junior and senior high schools as well as community college in Las Vegas and various Mississippi schools.  I have a B.S. and an M.S. in English, a minor in communications and  school administration; a master's in English and a masters of divinity degree.  I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and currently work at Howard University in Washington, DC, where I am the Director of Behavioral Medicine for the residency program in the Department of Community and Family Medicine.  I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart and soul and have pastored for 14 years in Mississippi.
